About Tiyatro-ZTiyatro-Z has been planned to be built under hard circumstances over five years now. Under the scent of history and wreckless use of Galata area we found a nice place and started renowations for one and a half year. The place which used to be an iron factory is planned to be a useful culture and arts athmosphere. When the construction will be finnished, not only there will be a stage but also an arts gallery, a workshop area and a cafe. Our audiance capacity is 70 people. Sound and light system is applied. The building is standing on 20x7 meters. İt is going to be a small but warm culture-art center. This page is still under consturction. |
Theatre is a big ocean and theatre groups are ships and boats in the sea. There are those big ships you can't see at once. There are those ships chased by the seagulls. There are also little fishing boats that are trying to make the day. They stand between the waves of the big ships. They don't roll over the waves, they don't run away from the wind, they watch the marks of the seagulls in the air... we are unfurling from Galata to İstanbul. Good luck to all!
